I got my braces off today!!!
I got lucky today. At my ortho appointment... I went in today to argue with the orthodontist about when the braces were going to come off, fully intending to schedule a date in the far future ( and to be really mad about it). BUT as luck would have it, the schedule was light and they were able to get it done today! So after 13 months, I have once again had my braces taken off ( the other time was over 15 years ago). Yipee. Somehow I don't think this latest development will make me any more photogenic.. it doesn't make sense that all the ugly pictures of me have only been taken in the last 13 months.... that I will somehow not continue to smile like I'm in pain or constipated,... that my left side lazy eye will become stronger... but I can hope. Maybe after some surgery.

You do need to post a picture...I am starting to forget what you look like.
Yeah, such a great feeling isn't it? Actually, I remember that my teeth felt really slimey for awhile. I have had braces twice, and I think I need them again...
