Grant thinks he's ready for Kindergarten- TODAY. Today was his first day back to preschool after the LONG winter break.
Only, he's a little confused- and I think we've figured out where he got mixed up.
Today at school he told his teachers, the librarians and anyone else who would listen- that "Today is my last day here" His teacher was actually concerned that something had happened and we were moving.
It seems that he got confused because at church he "moved up" to the next class with the new year in Primary- so naturally, he thought this was a constant across all settings- He was ready to go to Kindergarten today.
We tried to explain again tonight that he wouldn't be in Kindergarten until after Summer. He listened.... but I think he's still not buying it.
