We could run a small radio shack out of our house.... or garage. The cords in our house could strangle a small village. And I think my husband's favorite thing is to buy extension cords. Since it is "the season" meaning the "season of outdoor decor" we had to bust out our entire inventory to put up the outside lights. You would think we would of accumulated enough cords in 13 years of marriage to handle the job... but somehow I can recall at this point, that we had to purchase not 1, but 3 additional cords or "switches" or "extensions".
We also were in Target yesterday and found another cord AND another "junction" at half off- we need a few rubbermaids just to store the cords.
PS- I was in the office closet the other day and found ANOTHER container of CORDS- not just extension cords, but phone cords, miscellaneous computer cords, etc. My vote is to get them out- they haven't been needed for a year- so WHY can't we get rid of them!

Oh, cords, cords, cords! Mostly what we collect is the computer/accessory/phone/charger/doc assortment. We never seem to have enough extension cords.
This year, though, cords were at the root of why our holiday lights never went up! Pete kept putting it off because he thought we needed more cords (i.e. wanted me to go buy more cords) and I wasn't going to buy any more cords until we got it all out to see what we had! Result: no outdoor christmas lights this year!
