Home from the hospital

The surgery went really well, and I'm grateful for all the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers sent my way. I know it helped. I didn't have any bad reactions to the anesthesia- which is really great. No nausea, no throw up- yeah!

Grant and Grace have been really sweet. We had a talk about how they can't tackle, wrestle, etc with me and of course they're takign it very seriously. Grant is sweet and has asked for a hug, then he hugs me around the waist so he's not touching my bandages. He has been really curious though, and I found him trying to unwrap me from the back last night!

He did pick out a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and Grace wrote a poem- which is really cute:
(I'm keeping the spelling the same)

Vilots are blue, roses are red.
Kitens are Kozy, Pilous( pillows) are soft
Hedge hogs are spiky
Elephents (elephants) are rinkley ( wrinkly)
but the person I love the most is
you mommy.

She had Ryan distract me so she could tuck in the poem in the flower bouquet as a surprise.

I'm so glad things went well! I was chuckling as I read about the "tissue" problem you had to explain. What cuties your kids are!

Wow Ashley you have been sooo busy! I have been wanting to sit down and write you a big massive email, but it has yet to happen so for now a comment on your blog will have to do.

I'm glad that your reduction went well - I wish I had known beforehand I might have been able to work something out for a transplant for me. :)

I'm sad to hear that Intel has suspended travel for now...I know where to direct my prayers. :) I'm almost positive if I told Brayden that Grace might come if he prayed really really hard that he would pray overtime as well. Take care, keep in touch.
